Spotify Playlist Switching

Hello! 

I created a new playlist with music that I could listen to while I do homework or study. After choosing all the songs I wanted on the playlist, I began listening to the playlist. (Playlist was on shuffle). After one song, a song started playing from another playlist I have. Thinking it was just a fluke, I went back to my newly created playlist and hit shuffle. Again it played one song and went back to the same playlist it did earlier. It did this about four times before I began to get frustrated.

Does anyone know how this happened or if there is a way I can fix it?

What OS are you using?

Its also worth right clicking on the playlist you want to listen to and selecting "Choose as current playlist" to see if that makes any difference?

I'm having the same problem. I'm using the App on Windows Phone 8.1

It's really aggravating. All I want is to choose another playlist or an album to listen to but no matter what I do the former playlist is still in the queue and starts playing after one, only one, of the other songs I chose plays.
