My Question or Issue

Alright, so I'm getting a bit of a weird issue. I'm almost 100% positive it has to do with me running Spotify at 144hz, but I could be wrong.

This has been happening for a few days now and I can't find a fix anywhere. Essentially, whenever a Spotify video ad comes up, my graphics card doesn't know what to do and the monitor flashes static and goes blank. The only way I could fix this issue was for me to put my computer into sleep mode and then wake it up again. Fast forward to today, the screen goes blank, but then the "Shutting down..." screen comes up.

Before the past few days, I was also having trouble with the Spotify website. My graphics card would pretty much do the same thing, but this time it was easy to get out of since all I had to do was "Ctrl + W" to close the tab. I read up on it and it said it had something to do with 144hz, but it'd kind of be a pain to switch my monitor refresh rate every time I want to use Spotify.

Any ideas on how I can fix this?
