My Question or Issue

Whenever I start Spotify on any of my devices it shows 'Listening on Web Player (Chrome)' and it's always the same song on repeat: Crash-Head by mc m.a

It's something I never listened to and I have never used the Web Player. I don't even use Chrome but Firefox. I can change it to listen on the device I want but the next time I use Spotify it happens again. I used to option 'sign out everywhere', I changed my password and still the same, it happened again right after I logged back in. What's going on? Now I'm worried that my account has been compromised or it's some kind of virus.

Hey @PaulTomb.

Thanks for getting in touch! No worries, we'll help so your account stays safe.

It sounds like someone might be accessing your account. Be sure to change both your Spotify password and your Facebook password. Then, log out everywhere on your Spotify account page and your Facebook profile.

If this didn't help, or it did but your account has been messed with, take a look at this article. There you'll find additional help 🙂
