Spotify on Google Home

I got my parents a Google Home, and I got us a family Spotify account. I am currently away for the week, and my Spotify account keeps showing me what they're listening to. I can't listen to my own music on my laptop or phone without impacting what they're listening to. I was under the impression that I needed to be on the same wifi network for my phone to be connected to the google home, but for some reason it still is. How do I fix it? I want to listen to my music.

Which Spotify account is linked to the Google Home at your parents?

It seems it is your Spotify account that is linked to the Google Home device, so every time they request for music it will use your account.

To avoid that you must link another Spotify account to the device.

I have a google home and a Spotify premium account my girls just got google home minis for Xmas we have the Spotify premium account which we linked to their minis and now none of our devices will play Spotify. Can anyone help?
