Spotify on PS4 won't launch

My Question or Issue

Hi everyone,

I tried launching Spotify on my ps4 for the first time and the grey page with the Spotify logo loads up but then after a few seconds a message with the word "Error" appear under the logo and the app won't advance further. I've tried deleting and redownloading the application multiple times, signing in and out of PlayStation network and rebuilding the database of my ps4 but the app still gives the same issue. Can someone please help? Would be much appreciated

are you able to sign in on a pc or smart phone?

Yeah the app works on my smartphone. The PS4 app doesn't even take me to a sign in page though, it stops during the grey page with the Spotify logo. Attached is an image that I took of my tv screen
