Spotify play counts when streamed via Sonos

I'm using Spotify on Sonos, and it seems that tracks played via Sonos are not recorded in the Spotify history, hence they don't influence your top tracks and your personal recommendations - at least this ist what it says on the Sonos forum.

So is there anything that Spotify can do to make these plays count, or is this a Sonos issue entirely?

It's true that the play counts on Sonos for Spotify tracks don't get reported in your account's history. We don't have any info on when this will be possible, but we'll let our developers know it's something you'd like to see.

Thanks for your reply. So it's correct that tracks played on Sonos also don't influence your Weekly Mix playlist?

That's right @hal_9k! Since the tracks played on Sonos don't get reported in your account, they're not taken into account for your Weekly Mix playlist.
