Using Spotify ONLINE an a wearable?!

My Question or Issue

 Hi,

I'm searching for a device to play spotify ONLINE on a warable via WiFi.

What I read now is that (for example) the Samsung Gear only supports an offline mode where you first have to download the msuic to the watch.

Searching for a device to play online music in the studio (WiFi available) without having my phone in the pocket.

Any ideas???

Currently all wearables require a mobile phone in near proximity, or the music to be 'downloaded' onto the device.
