[WP8] Spotify <3 Lumia

When will Spotify come to Nokia Lumia? Anyone knows the plans?

I have just edited your topic title to add the correct tag for this section.

I am guessing you are referring to one of the new Lumia's (the Windows Phone 8 ones)? 

If so, I think hpguru (community founder) told me a while back he had been told it would be released at some point in Q1 2013, but I haven't heard anything more about it than that.

There is a large topic discussing the current lack of app on Windows Phone 8 here.

On the off chance you are using an older Lumia, the Windows Phone 7 ones, you should be able to download Spotify from the app store.

Thanks, yes, it is a Lumia 920 WP8.

I saw the Q1 2013. Guess I'll just have to wait. Or use Grooveshark.

I guess Spotify is just as surprised as Nokia by the demand for the Lumia, but currently there's a huge gap in the market for Spotify.

If I look at the Netherlands and France, in both countries it's reported that the amount of preorders for the lumia was even bigger then the iPhone 5:

Yet all those smartphone owners can't use spotify at this moment. Hopefully it will be released in the first third of Q1 😉
