When I push play on my spotify the songs doesn't starts

So when I push play the song doesn't start, the clock in the left corner

(who counts the minutes of the song) don't start either. The problem is on my computer 

with windows 8. It works just fine on my phone, Samsung Galaxy III. 

I've already contacted the twitter account "spotifycares" and e-mailed them.

Please help me,

Does this happen on every single track, even ones in the Spotify catalogue? 

Do you get any error messages at all?

It happens with every track.
What is Spotify catalouge? 
No error messages and I have installed spotify two times but 

nothing changes. I have also restart my computer several times.

Do you have any idea what I can do? 🙂

btw, it seems some servers are down!!! I have it now with every album

Seems like they are having different problems with spotify on windows 8 each day. 

I got this answer from their twitter account  "have you tried any of these suggested Windows 8 troubleshooting steps? http://bit.ly/17hBnE8  /M" 

When I troubleshoot spotify, windows 8 says incompatible access. So I guess I have to wait for some

update from Windows 8 and it may take some days.

Dull, i have w8 for 10 monts and never had problems before

8 tracks per album works and 1 or 2 does not. Nog W8 problem but a spotifyserver problem

If it was a server issue it is unlikely it would only be affecting Windows 8 computers (and Windows 8 is not officially supported!)

Do you have any Internet Connection Sharing enabled on any of your network adapters? 

These are also worth a shot:

- Run Spotify in Windows XP or Windows 7 compatibility mode (right click on the desktop icon > Compatibility)

- Untick the "Enable Hardware Acceleration" option in Edit > Preferences > Playback

do you really think thats the issue?

If it would be a windows 8 problem NONE of the tracks would play. Its only a few tracks each album

I advise you to check these

- christoper missen - blue memory

- beau hunze& the backporch shufflers - mellow

the albums where the tracks belong to does play, these tracks do not.

Hi. Those all play fine for me - do they work for you from the playlist I made? I'm just wondering if you have these files on your desktop (they would have a note symbol  by the date added column and appear in your local files.)

The problem is solved on my mobile, all those tracks does play on there. But on the desktop still does not.

I really cannot understand this situation which I bever had before.

The solvation is still not there so we have to wait, unless you have another idea?

well, even wurse... on my windows 7 machine they do not play aswell 🙂

Did you check to see if those tracks are on your desktop as local files? Tell you what, open my playlist in the desktop client and post a screenshot for me to look at please 🙂

It works for me now.  I was just clicking on different stuffs on settings and then I just restarted my computer

and it asked if I wanted to refresh the computer so I did and it worked.
