Xbox app not loading

Just bought an Xbox One and was hoping to listen to some music via my brand new fancy headset I've been watching this loading screen for about 5 hours now after the first 30 minutes I resetted the app after another 30 minutes of waiting for it to load I resetted my console and if not I'll just been sitting at the screen for 4 hours would be nice if I was given the option to actually sign in
