latest installer fails and hangs error code 13

i have uninstalled it, re booted then downloaded and tried the latest installer from the spotify home page, it came up with this then hanged, took 20 mins to end the installer? any ideas ?????? cheers     windows 7 ultimate 64 good spec system

Try a clean reinstall:

First uninstall Spotify and then delete this folder:

C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Spotify
and C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Local\Spotify

After that reinstall Spotify


If you can't find the folder, try this:

Uninstall Spotify: Start > Control Panel > Programs / Uninstall a Program > Spotify
Find your AppData folder and delete all Spotify data.
Start, run, type: %appdata% and hit enter
You probably see 4 folders; enter each and see if they contain a folder called Spotify. Delete the entire Spotify folder.
Restart your computer at this point.
Reinstall Spotify (download)

done all that, now a month on its doing the same. i have tried removing it from start up otherwise it tries to instal itself every time i boot up. 

used the latest installer and still doing it.

getting desperate as i cant listen to music on my main rig and paying out £10 for a service i cant use 😞
