new releases suddenly not working


Hi. Am using 91527 version and have been since its release with win 7 64bit. I know this is an older version, but its the only version that works...newer versions are a pain to use re:playlists/drag and drop, and wont close down...they just hang and the only way to clear them is to open a broser window which clears the interface from my screen.(graphics capability fine on pc). Recently, the ' new releases' tab doesnt work. Have reinstalled but to no avail. Am I stuffed? thanks
