playlist cover not showing in windows and sonos..

Hi ya all!

I am using Spotify premium via my Sonos system.

I am mainly organizing playlists as albums 1 by 1, so every single playlist represents a single album.

I see the cover art of that album when going into that playlist but do not see a cover in the list of playlists.

This works in the spotify android-client, but does not on windows and also not on sonos.

Any ideas or solution to this?

The Android/iPhone app is the only Spotify app that will show the album art next to the playlist title.

In the desktop app, the album art is shown after you click on the playlist.

It will show the album covers of the first 4 songs. If all of the songs are from the same album, it will only show one album cover.

Even though this does not seem to be a solution to me.

This describes the problem I got.

I am not absolutely sure but I think this was working on the sonos app for android (which I mostly use for listening to spotify) some time ago and does not do anymore - but as mentioned I am not sure about that.

So the question to spotify - are there plans to bring this playlist-artwork-feature to other platforms too or reasons why not to?
