My Question or Issue

Hi,
I try to sync my Garmin watch with Spotify and I have some troubles because I get information that sync failed.

 

Sync is FAIL when I use wifi from router Huawei B535-232
Sync is OK when I use an iPhone hotSpot.

Do you have any suggestions about what should be changed on the router to fix the synchronization?
some ports, IPs, or anything different?

I am having the same issue. I have a huawei router and cant get music to sync to my watch. Did you ever find a solution to this?

Yes,
I did a workaround. I just used my phone wifi to sync 🙂

I've got a Hauwei phone and has the same effect with its hotspot. Going to try it out with one of my mates iPhones and see if it makes a difference.

  • Same issue with garmin fenix 5 and huawei cube. Need to use my one plus 9 Hotspot.

You might want turn to the router manufacturer about this, as there might be some restrictions to certain networking ports or protocols on the router, which may be causing issues with Spotify data syncing between devices.
