spotify cant play the current track

No songs will play on my spotify, through the application or through the browser (play.spotify.com). It just says "spotify cant play the current track"

I have attempted every solution I have found so far. I have completely reinstalled, I have unticked every option in preferences, I have restarted the application, nothing is working.

I am a premium user. Please help!

Hello!
Please try changing your default playback device to your computer's speakers, restart Spotify and try it again. If it will work, you can change the default device back to the one you want to use.
