Amazon Echo will not play my playlists

My Question or Issue

My Amazon Echo will not play any of my Spotify playlists! Ive tried various phrases and also uninstalled and reinstalled my Echo several times, I’ve also unlinked and relinked my Spotify account with Alexa and also made sure Spotify is my default Music Player!..and still no luck, I’ve renamed my playlists and it won’t play any of them 😞   Alexa does one of two different things

1: plays Radom music from Spotify related to the playlist name (ie my playlist is called Mark, and Alexa replies with “playing mark from Spotify”)  

OR  

2:Alexa says she can’t find a playlist named like this ...

please could someone help me 🙂
