Hi, I have an Amazon Kindle Fire and today my spotify suddenly doesn't play any music at all anymore. There isn't any indication of anything except that when I hit shuffle play, it just says get premium to listen to unlimited music. (that isn't exactly what it says, but something to that effect). Anyway, I just wanted someone to confirm with me here. Did Spotify suddenly change their policy with Kindle Fires or what happened? Can only Spotify Premium members use it?

That's odd. Kindle Fire is play-on-demand as well like any other tablets.
Can you try reinstalling the app by following the steps here?
