Anyone else seeing a new limit on playlist size with Connect playback on Alexa?

My Question or Issue

I have been a premium user for years and I have discovered a new behavior by Spotify Connect, I wonder if other listeners can confirm.  When playing through Connect on Amazon Echo speakers, and when playing a large playlist, say over 3,500 songs, you cannot directly choose or change what track is playing from a phone or desktop Spotify app.  I have been controlling song playback this way for a long time, and now I cannot.  I have done all the reinstalling and re-engaging steps with no change.  If you are willing to help, would you please try to play a large playlist on Alexa speakers thru Connect, then try to change play to a new track?  I would be grateful for your experience.  Thank you.  (PS I posted a version of this before but it looks like my question was not posted.)
