My Question or Issue

Everytime I open the app it switches playback to repeat/loop. It's not much of an issue if I hit play on a playlist. But I generally don't use playlists except at work. When I search a song and click it to play, its automatically on repeat. Since the "playlist" for one song is well... One song. That means it defaults to repeating the same song. I know the "solution" is to just uncheck the loop. But it's a hassle to open the player and change it every single time I start the app with a new session. And I'm usually not thinking about that. I'm thinking "I wanna listen to Torna a Casa and the rest of the songs the algorithm suggests like it."  And it makes it essentially impossible to start listening hands free.

I have been having this issue for years. I commented on this thread already years ago! Every time that I come back to this thread after another year I think surely they must have it fixed by now. It's only an issue in my car (ford sync Bluetooth) anyway I give up. I am now finding a new music streaming app I won't continue to give money to a company that completely ignores simple problems that users experience FOR YEARS

My Question or Issue

Hi, so i have had this issue for a couple of months now, whenever i connect to a car via bluetooth the song i currently play is stuck in repeat. When i try to toggle off the repeat button it flashes and there it is again. Whenever i am not connected to any cars bluetooth it works just fine, with headphones, works fine. I have tried a clean reinstall like 75 times over the last days because nothing i find on the forums seem to work. I did find a redit thread that said that more people have the same issue but no solution was proposed.

2025… and I see I’m having the same issue as everyone else which is frustrating as a new Spotify premium user who decided to get a Spotify account over Apple Music. If I can’t get a solution will definitely cancel and switch over to Apple.
