My Question or Issue

My autoplay keeps turning itself off and whenever I try to turn it on again it keeps turning off by itself. On rare occasions it works but when even after I turn it back on in the settings, it still won't work. Any suggestions on why this happens and how it can be fixed? Thank you

That's odd.

Have you tried reinstalling your app to see if that fixes this issue permanently? If not here's a step by step tutorial.

Hello Nico, thank you for the warm welcome! 🙂 Unfortunately, reinstalling the app did not do any justice into fixing the problem. I'm not entirely quite sure what do about this situation right now, and it sucks because I really do love the autoplay feature! It helps me discover new songs related to my preferenced types of songs. Hopefully there will be a solution for this soon!

Just to confirm, does the Autoplay setting toggle itself off? Or do you mean that Autoplay is not working correctly even though the Autoplay setting is toggled on?

 

In the meantime, could you provide us with the following info:

  • device + OS version
  • exact Spotify version
  • how long you've had the issue for?
