Broadcast local audio files to connected devices

My Question or Issue

Hi 🙂

I imported my local personal audio files (.mp3) into a created Spotify playlist, from the Spotify app on Windows 10.

I can listen my audio files from my Android 9, connected to Internet or offline : No problem.

But, on the other hand, I cannot broadcast these audio files via my PS4 for example, which is connected on the same network as my phone.

I think Spotify is blocking this feature.

Are there any plans to unlock this feature? that would be really good!

NB : I have a Spotify Family account.

Unfortunately, local files are not currently supported by Connect.

There's an existing idea to implement this feature here - feel free to add your vote to it!
