Can't play any songs since the last update

Can't play any songs since the last update

Hi!

 

Since the last update I haven't been able to play any songs at all. I'm using Windows 8. When I try to play one, a message comes up at the top of the window saying "This song is not available. If you have the file on your computer you can import it."

 

I have an internet connection so it can't have anything to do with that, I believe. I've tried playing songs I've downloaded, but not even those are working.

 

I'd really like an answer, because this is getting kind of disappointing.
