Can’t read reviews on Audiobooks

My Question or Issue

If I tap the star/ratings button on an audiobook, a message pops up saying “Listen first! Then come back and give a rating.” Thats great and all, but why can I not READ the 8.6k reviews??

Thanks for posting in the Community and welcome. 

In this case, we'd like to gather some additional info to better understand what's happening on your side. Would you mind sharing with us the exact Spotify version you're running on your mobile device?

On another note, can you send us a video recording of what you are seeing on your side? You can attach it in your next reply in mp4 format, or you can also upload it to YouTube or Google Drive and make it public, so we can visualize it.
 

Lastly and just to confirm, is this happening on audiobooks you've already listened to previously? If not sure, it'd help us a lot if you could check.

There are no reviews to read, only the star rating.

Unlike podcasts, audiobooks only have a rating out of 5, no written reviews.

Still happening as of September 2024...cannot read any written reviews.

This issue is still happening in January 2025. I'd like to be able to read reviews as well! I also am not able to write reviews for books or podcasts I've listened to.

Same here in June 2025, also it's strange not to be able to tell what I have listened to or read bevor. Spotify keeps proposing books I already know...
