I keep getting an error when trying to connect to chromecast from the web app, this has been going on for at least a month now. Is there any fix to this?

In the meantime, is your Chromecast up-to-date, and are you running the latest version of Spotify?
If you could also let us know a little more about the device you're using, we'll dig deeper 🙂
The device I am using is an Alienware Aurora desktop with Chrome ver. 64 and chromecast which is up to date
