Cant open web player

Whenever i click on the "web player" link it automatiocally takes me to the spotify homepage instead of the spotify web player. Someone please help me. Ive had Spotify before and this has never happened. ( my device wont allow me to download the app, so web player is my only option)

Web Player is only meant for desktop and tablets. So if you have a unsupported phone you're, I guess you could say, unlucky.
