My Question or Issue

I'm a few months old on using Spotify, signed up for the 3 month trial.  So my observation is that Connect to a Device keeps kicking me off my computer and playing on my Android when I'm sitting at my desk.  Is there a way to keep Spotify from auto-selecting my phone?  If there isn't, and there are enough people having the same problem, I think having an "ignore auto-select" in the settings should fix this.  Does this seem to be problem for other users, or is this maybe a problem concerning only the trial members, unintentionally of course?  TIA

The app shouldn't auto select a device unless you choose this device yourself. So perhaps something is wrong with the app. Try to reinstall your apps using these instructions.

 

You could also, to be on the safe side, reset your password and sign out everywhere. Maybe you forgot to log out somewhere and another user is interfering with your listening.
