Continues to ask to Import Mp3 and won't play

My Question or Issue

I'm attempting to add local MP3 files to my library.  I've followed the steps here: https://support.spotify.com/us/article/local-files/ .  Installed Quicktime.  Did a clean install, create a play list with the MP3, but Spotify won't play them.  I get the message; "Spotify can't play this right now.  If you have the file on your computer you can import it."

I don't see anything in the app that says 'Import' in the desktop app.

What am I missing, or is this just not working in version: 1.1.64.561.g71bd09eb-a
