“Copied from Liked Songs”

“Copied from Liked Songs”

I clicked on someone’s profile/recent playlist and it says “copied from your Liked Songs on xxxx date” on the top of the page. What does this mean?

Hey there, welcome to the Spotify Community! 🎵

Would you find the sharing a link or screenshot to the playlist (or maybe both)? I think their playlist is just named that way, and it has nothing to do with your liked songs. There is no built-in feature to copy someone else's playlists automatically, let alone the liked songs one which are private. 🙂

From what i've seen it is a playlist made from their own liked songs and not yours. In your liked song playlist they have different catergories like pop, dance, upbeat etc and when on mobile and you select one of them you can make a playlist based of that. And in the description of that playlist it will say “copied from your Liked Songs on xxxx date”. Hope this helps!
