DJ trying to sync playlists! Please help!

I am a DJ looking to make my hip-hop playlist public on Spotify.

I copied the tracks in my playlist to a separate folder on my Mac, and added this playlist on Spotify as a source in preferences.  They show up fine in Spotify.

However, I would like to be able to delete this separate folder I made on my Mac, and have the playlist still exist on Spotify.  

Is there a way for me to have Spotify find all of the tracks in the playlist within its internal library, and turn this into a separate Spotify playlist?  This way I can delete the folder I made to sync to Spotify and free up space on my laptop, while keeping the playlist in tact on Spotify.

If not, what is the best way to go about making this playlist I have available to the public without adding each individual song?
