Denon AVR-X2100W - No Spotify Connect

Just purchased a new Denon receiver and everything is working OK except Spotify connect, it doesn't show as a device on the connect page. I can stream everything via AirPlay OK, but connect doesn't show. They are both running on the same network, but I wonder if there are any settings I need to consider for spotify specifically. I have tried searching the forums but haven't come up with anything so far. If anyone could point me in the direction of some help it would be much appreciated!

My avr-x2100w now working fine in Missouri.  Hope the fix is permanent!

Have you tried the tracks reported as non-working by others (including me)?
The absolute majority of tracks work but not all... if things have not
changed the last hour or so...

X2100w worked this morning in Toronto. Keep it up.

I still find songs/playlists that doesn't work, makes the problem occur again.

Not 100% fixed.

When I find new songs/playlist that makes the problem occur I inform the Spotify support.

Just got a Spotify update this morning on my phone Version 3.5.0.963. AVR X2100W working this morning

Sems to be playing allright now.

except that on both iPad and android app the time/counter isn't displayed correctly.

 

hope an app update solves that too.

edit: it's only doing that on particular tracks. I think the same tracks that did' play correctly during the initial issues.

so yes. It's much better but not perfect yet.

It running ok from now in The Netherlands.

 

Just re-installed Spotify, just in case.

Did no update on iOS/android and no Firmware update on Denon.

Mine has been playing well all week, but today it just stopped working.

As my Denon N4 is playing and I switch onto Spotify Connect from any source, it stops for a second and restarts its last mode (e.g. Internet Radio).

 

How fun having an inverted problem.

Pretty much works, but can still have temporary problems when quickly chaging between several songs and albums.

I still have a problem.

 

I can connect my Spotify app with my DENON CEOL N9 but when i play song for 1 minute then it starts interrupt.

This is more than week when they trying to fx this issue.

 

This is not acceptable!!!!

Before you get started with Connect did you double check:
  • All devices are on the same WiFi.
  • If you're playing to a speaker or TV, that your phone or tablet is logged into the newest version of the Spotify app.
  • If you're playing to another phone, tablet, or computer, that all devices are logged into the same Spotify account on the newest version of the Spotify app.

If you've checked all of those things and you're still having trouble, please let us know:

1. Your device (e.g. iPhone 5C)

2. Your device's OS  

3. The Spotify app version installed
