[Desktop][Playlists] Apple watch and artist royalties

When I download a playlist to my Apple Watch and listen there, do artists get credit for the spins on that device?

Hello @DennisSanders,

Thanks for reaching out about this on the Community! We're happy to shed some light on the situation.

For downloaded music, regardless of the device, we count streams when the listener goes back online (which must happen at least once every 30 days).

If you're interested in learning more about how artists get paid, you can check out our microsite Loud & Clear.

Hope you'll find this info useful - Happy listening 🎶
