Does Release Radar work the same way on Free and Premium tier?

As the title suggests, does Release Radar work the same on Spotify Free and Spotify Premium, or are there differences or restrictions?

Release Radar on premium allows me to (90% of the time, it's definitely not infallable) be informed on a Friday of any new releases by artists I'm following. Does the Free tier behave the same way, or are the recommendations given differently?

The way Release Radar works doesn't depend on your subscription tier. The playlist should operate in the same way for both tiers. 

If you're not into the music it's showing you, try listening to more of your favorite artists outside of this playlist so that it can get to know your listening habits better.
