[iOS8]
Just updated to the latest spotify and now when I plug my iPhone in to my ford focus, it plays 3 seconds of a track, and then skips to the next track.
Was working fine before the update.
I have the same problem with my Ford Focus of 2015. Please help, it's really a big burden for me.
For me the problem still exists. I solved it to use an the mini-jack plug between iPhone and Car (Fiesta, 2014) but that's a work around as the phone won't charge and you can't control the music via your steering wheel.
I recently had a new iPhone (6) and I was hoping that would solve the issue. But it did not change. It seems to be something between the iOS app of spotify and the Ford software. Although my soundcloud app sometimes behaves the same.
It would be awesome if this can be solved one way or another.
Where can I find the VIN number? If Ford is willing to do something they can also contact me directly.
The VIN number location according to http://www.fordownersclub.com/forums/topic/45295-fiesta-2013-vin-number-position/
In the pre face lift the vin number was also printed on the body of the car under a little flap in the carpet in the drivers footwell near the door. The one on the windscreen should be right though and the same as what's under the floor I think never checked mine
Please try to find your VIN numbers and post them here. With the VIN numbers Ford can identify your Head Unit (car lingo for car stereo) and test with exactly the same setup as you have. In order to fix this they must be able to reproduce the issue so that they can root cause it.
Still no fix for that problem. I have the same issue with my ford radio from 2013....
My Car is the place where i have the most time to listen to music. So if there is no fix for it i'll have to switch to apple music or s.th. like that.
Other Apps like Podcast don't have such a problem. The fault is obviously on spotifiy's side. (IOS 9 and Iphone 6) And don't tell me that you need a specific number for the fix and reproducement, with sooooo many other people having the problem....
Spotify keeps skipping tracks or after it tries to reconnect on CHROME. Any help?
Yes
I am. I just bought a new I Pod to play music in my ford fiesta 2012 model because it wouldn't recognise my i pod nano...£140 down the drain if it won't sync. Please please get it sorted.
Please do something about this problem now. Nothing has changed until this time. This is a disrespect for those who support you..
Please solve this problem. Write 6 page for this problem. Spotify Developers do not respond. Help now please!!!
I've got the same problem and this problem still continues and Spotify keeps skipping tracks..
I have the same problem, gonna try Tidal or Apple Music if spotify cant find any solution.
**bleep**! I was waiting almost 2 years to get spotify on tizen and now it is almost 3 years while I'm waiting for fixing this issue. Come on!
I already lost hope that Spotify is going to do anything about this, it's been more than 2.5 years...
Luckily, I found this answer from @DJ_LuBo and... it worked for me as well (if it won't work make sure you've turned off "shuffle" option).
I'm still very disappointed with Spotify's actions (or should I say taking no action at all) but at least this workaround made the app usable again.
Spotify, you can't be serious. Please fix this! A possible work around is using an alternative Spotify Player, but it doesn't always work.
