Google Home Mini Re-Pause/Resume the playing of a song

Could someone help me with the set up for using the Google Home Mini.What are the commands to use to ask the GHM to pause and resume the playing of a song.Is there a time limit on how long the song will remain in the paused state.Does there have to be specific settings made to enable this function to work,irrespective of how long the song has been paused for.At the moment,I am in the trial membership but do intend to carry on with the full membership.Any help on this matter,would be mostly appreciated.
