Google Home won't play specific song but will just play similar station

For the past few months I have been having a problem with my Google Home device. I am a Premuim subscriber and when I ask to play any song or artist it says that I have to be a premuim subscriber to do so and will just play a radio station similar to the artist or song I have asked for. I can however play the song on one of my devices and then connect to my Home through that but this just defeats the object of owning a Home in the first place.

I have turned off expicit filering and the songs asked for are not explicit in any way at all...can anybody help with this please as it's so frustrating?

Hey,

In the Google home app, unlink your Spotify account, and then link it again. That should do the trick meanwhile we wait for a fix the the Google Home app.
