Google home not casting Spotify to other cast devices

My Google home all of a sudden will not cast to my other cast devices.

It says it completes the action and I can see Spotify playing in background on my phone but the Chromecast still displays the background and is not connected.

Sometimes I can cast direct from my phone but it's been hit and miss lately.

I'm rebooted everything and added account to Google home again

I have the exact same issue, except I havent gotten it to work casting a single time the last couple of days. I can cast other apps to my Chromecast and I can play Spotify on my laptop and phone, so it's clearly the Android Spotify app. I think the last update broke it for me since it worked flawless before that. I have premium by the way.
