How can I deactivate the web player?

Everytime I click on a Spotify song link, the Web player opens. I'f im not logged in, it prompts me to log in. But I do not wish to use the Spotify web player. I have the desktop app open and its really frustrating. How do I disable the web player, I can't find any info about this.

Hey @Maswick, help's here. 

A song link will always open the Web Player. However, there are some things you can do to easily open the song in the app. Either copy the URL of the page you end up on and paste in in the Search bar of the app, or click Connect to a device symbol in the bottom-right and select the device you'd like to play on, in your case it should be "this computer" or something similar. Just make sure you have the app open in the background.
