How can I make embedded links stop opening in the desktop app?

Every time I click play on an embedded track, it starts to open the desktop app. I DO NOT want to do that. And I've googled this and apparently I'm the odd guy out who prefers to use the web player and embedds, everyone had the opposite issue, so there are lots of posts online saying that there is now an option to choose how embedded links open, but I cannot find that option at all in my account settings. Is it even still available? Thanks!

I wish I could switch you problems. I hate the web player - all links take me there automatically.

I actually just got off live chat and was told that the web player was the only way to open links currently, so it is interesting you are experiencing the exact opposite.

I wish I could just find one straight answer on these forums.
