How do I delete all of the songs in my library at once on a chromebook?

I would like to know if there is a quick and easy way to delete all of the songs in your library on an Acer Chromebook.

Sincerely, Sage

Hey @SageHazADHD ,

Welcome to the Community!

Yes, you can delete all your songs at once, all you have to do is:

  1. Open your Desktop Spotify App
  2. Go to your Library → Songs
  3. Press CTRL + A
  4. Hit the Delete button in your keyboard
  5. Just click on Remove and it's all done!

You'll see a message similar to this to confirm:

delete songs.jpg

Hope this helps 🙂

This isn’t an option on the Chromebook app. It’s set up exactly like the mobile app for whatever reason, so shortcuts don’t work.

Hey there @user-removed,

Glad to have you on the Community!

While it's currently not possible to remove multiple songs at once on the mobile app, there's a relevant idea for what you're suggesting in the Idea Exchange here. Feel free to add your vote to it - it's the best way to provide your feedback for new features such as this one.

If you'd like to suggest something different, however, you can always submit a new idea for it.

For more info on how your feedback reaches Spotify via the Idea Exchange, make sure to check out this Spotify Answer.

Hope this info is useful. Give us a shout, if you need help with anything else. We're happy to lend a hand 🙂
