I'm aware it's been a while since you posted this, but I just came across your thread. Considering older Community threads can resurface as users search for the same answer, I wanted to share some info in case anyone else was still wondering about this 😊
The Spotify Community was created around the beginning of February of 2012. This means that soon it'll be the 10th year anniversary to celebrate! You can look back the 1st Anniversary Blog, straight from the Community archives.
As for Spotify itself, it was founded in 23 April 2006. You can find a wealth of info around this in Wikipedia as well.
