How to download update 1.2.8.923 to my MacBook Air

After downloading the update I receive a message that I have to change preferences and don't know what preferences to change. It looks like I have to download from the Spotify app but can't find a place on the app to do that.

As a first step, can you please let us know your OS version and send us a screenshot of the error message you're seeing?

In the meantime, you can also try clean uninstalling the app and downloading the latest version from our website.
