Hey there,
Thank you for reaching out here in the Community.
It seems like they're on the same network as you and you have a setting turned on that allows them to change the music on your Bluetooth speaker. No worries, we can help you out with this. First off, tap on the Connect icon and double check if the setting "Multiple people can join and control this speaker" is toggled on. In case it is - make sure to toggle it off as in the screenshot below.
By toggling it off they would not be able to control your speaker anymore , even if you're on the same network.
More info about Spotify Connect can be found in this support article.
Hope you find this useful. Let us know if there is anything else we can help you with 🙂

Hey @JesterFails,
Thanks for posting in the thread!
Could you please let us know (and possibly show us with a screenshot) which icon is missing? Is it the Connect function?
Note that such app errors can be cleared by either removing the app's cached data or going for a complete clean reinstall of the app as shown here.
In case you face any issues after this, don't hesitate to let us know 🙂 Many thanks!
When I'm listening to Spotify at work, I use a bluetooth speaker. I usually get 3-4 iPhones but as many as 6 that connect to my phone for the Spotify session, which then causes interference with my speaker. I can't turn off bluetooth or I lose use of my speaker. How do I keep other phones from connecting? Image of my Bluetooth settings attached.
