How to play a video podcast on iOS?

My Question or Issue

How can I switch from Audio to video podcast in the iOS app? 
I‘m trying to watch this video podcast, however, there seems to be no option to switch from Audio to Video. On my iPad, I can switch between these two options without any problems.

Thanks for reaching out via the Community and for the provided info!

Could you let us know in case you noticed when this behavior started for the first time (was it after something specific)? Is it only this specific podcast/episode you're having issues with?

Since you're able to switch to video on iPad and as we also tested on our end, but couldn't reproduce the same behavior on iPhone, it's worth trying with some troubleshooting steps in case anything makes a difference.

To start, I recommend that you disable airplane mode on your phone and to test with a different internet connection. 

A more detailed step is a clean reinstall which helps resolve different performance issues and it's more detailed than a regular reinstall. It also includes steps to clear the cache and ensures you're on the newest Spotify version.

Lastly, let us also know if the same behavior persists if you're streaming directly from the iPhone and not connected to your AirPods.

I did not notice anything specific.

No, it‘s with all episodes and I think I know why now:

When you download only the audio track of a podcast, there is no way to change to the video podcast even if you are online. As soon as I remove the download of the episode, I can switch between audio and video as normal. This seems like a bug which should be fixed. If I‘m online I expect that I can switch to the video version although I only downloaded the audio version.
