How to revert to old Web Player?

How to revert to old Web Player?

So the new Spotify Web Player is pretty horrible, no lie. I feel like all my music has been put into a stack and then that stack was thrown all over the high way. Anyways, it doesn't show albums unless you've saved the full album and it doesn't show artists unless you follow them? Thus all my individual songs are just all mixed together. Is there any way to put it back to the old layout?

Hi! Welcome to the Spotify Community!

I'm sorry to say it, but the new Web Player is a go and is already implemented fully. The old web player seems to have been permanently deleted.

There is a posted idea to bring it back here. Consider stopping by and dropping your vote!

If there is anything else I can do, please let me know 🙂

Hello, there is a way. If you are using chrome, download a user agent switcher extension. Then once done, choose Windows Firefox or IE10 in the user spoofer menu. Then once you have chosen your spoof, type in play.spotify.com/browse into your search bar and the old UI should come back up. Ensure that you keep the UAC on during all this.

I reccomend using this https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/user-agent-switcher-for-c/djflhoibgkdhkhhcedjiklpkjnoahfmg

As of a few hours ago, the play.spotify.com seems to redirect to open.spotify.com even when seeing an older user agent string 😕

The old web player is no longer working.
