How to turn off shuffle on a Playlist of just podcasts?

I like to put my podcasts on a Playlist in a certain order and then listen to the Playlist in order... except shuffle always gets turned on and I can't turn it off. I've seen tips and tricks for how to avoid shuffle turning on and then seem to work but inevitably the Playlist gets turned to shuffle, then I have to create a new Playlist and start over. I really love the spotify app but I am seriously considering using another app for podcasts, this needs to get fixed.

As we were unable to reproduce this behavior from our end, would you mind sharing exactly what troubleshooting steps you've tried so far so we can avoid repeating any?

Does this even happen with different playlists and did you notice when it started? Was it after an update of the app for example? On another note, let us also know if it's happening on one or multiple devices.

If you haven't already we recommend giving the app a detailed clean reinstall with the steps here as it can help resolve different issues with Spotify's performance.
