I can’t create a playlist on my free Spotify account. I don’t have an app.

I live in Germany, and I have a free Spotify account that I use on Google Chrome. I cannot make any playlists.

Thank you for reaching out to the Community about this.

This is an odd issue as you should be able to create playlists on your free account using the Web Player. So to make sure we're on the same page, would you mind confirming if you're using the (+) button on the left side-bar to create a new playlist?

If by any chance the button is not working properly, we'd recommend clearing cache and cookies from your browser and try again. In case the issue persists, we'd recommend trying from an incognito/private window or a different browser to see if it makes any difference. 

Lastly, if you've any VPN connection active while creating a new playlist, we'd recommend turning it off and restarting the browser to see if the issue persists.

Thanks for getting back to us. 

No worries. Your Library is also available in the Web Player, and you don't need the app to create a playlist since you can do it using the Web Player by following the steps that @OscarDC mentioned above.

If you're not seeing the option to create the playlist, can you send over a screenshot where we can take a better look? Make sure to hide any personal details from it. 

We'll be on the lookout.
