I can't play spotify at home and at work with two different accounts

I have a spotify account that I use at home and in my car and phone. I recently created a spotify account for my boss at work (different email address). If someone at my house plays music on spotify using my alexa speaker, the music at work stops. I can see on my work spotify home page that my home speaker shows up as an available device and I can see what is playing. I have clicked next to the device and told it to "forget this device" but every time someone at home plays music on spotify this happens. If I tell my work spotify to play music on the work speakers, the music at home stops. All speakers involved are Echo Plus speakers.

Hi @EMonson, thanks for writing.

My first suggestion is that you click on the link bellow and then click on "Sign out everywhere" - on both accounts.

https://www.spotify.com/account/overview/

After that, log back in using the correct credentials of each account.

Let me know how it goes!

Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately that did not work.

Hey @EMonson,

Can you please check which account is connected to the Amazon account that's logged on to the speakers?

You can also try to re-link the accounts to be a 100% sure.

Additional info on re-linking can be found here - https://support.spotify.com/article/spotify-on-alexa-devices/

I hope it's more helpful 😊
