My Question or Issue

 

Hi!

 

Since today I have a problem with my receiver. It is displayed among available devices but when I click on it never connects. It's displaying "connecting" for a couple of seconds and then it stops to connect. Beforehand it was always working very well and fast. I'm aware that this device is quite old...

The thing I noticed is that when I play the song from the device, so I force my receiver to play something from Spotify by clicking play button on the device, then it starts to play the last played song and it takes over. Then I see  on my phone that it is connected and I can even change song, but only forward or backward, I can't click on any song in the app from a playlist or album or anywhere else, it just doesn't react on this input.

Sorry to hear you`re having issues when trying to control the connection to your device. It could be that your receiver has fallen out of the range of devices that Spotify supports, or another option would be that the amp itself cannot accept commands through Bluetooth. We`d recommend checking out the Spotify connect page where you can see whether your receiver is in the list of supported devices.
