I love music but it doesn't love me back

Okay so this has been going on for as long as I can remember and I kinda just gave up on it after reinstalling and resetting my system numerous times and nothin works. Whenever I play a song on my PlayStation, it automatically stops when it gets towards the end of the song then it either goes to the next one or I have to click play and it restarts the song completely n it's pissing me off because music is my love and my life and I just wanna listen to it in piece with the quality of my television.
