I want to set a few seconds of mandatory silence between tracks

Can you add this option in settings / playback? So for example I can say 5 or 3 seconds of silence between tracks.
Sometimes I find it tiresome to not have any silent time between tracks.

If you really want to make it smart, you could detect tracks with silence in them in the beginning / end and make another option to count those seconds or not when deciding how much silence to add between the tracks. Something like "jump over embedded start/end silence".

Thanks for posting this suggestion.

I'm afraid there's currently no way to add a gap, but you can navigate to Settings > Playback and ensure that Gapless playback is disabled so it doesn't even remove gaps. Also, make sure that Crossfade is set to 0, so there's no overlap in between tracks.
